Most recently, Matt Gardi has worked as the Information Systems Director of the Office of the State Attorney, 16th Judicial Circuit in Florida.  During his tenure he moved the agency forward by implementing myriad of technology and operational advancements including a document management system, electronic discovery and electronic subpoenas all while substantially reducing the annual operating expenses of the agency.  Attributing the majority of the reason to Matt Gardi, former Executive Director Nancy Criswell requested an 8% DECREASE in her budget request of Monroe County in FY13.   (Read her comments here.)

In addition to a degree in Hardware and Network Administration from Champlain College in VT, Matt Gardi of ViaVende, also gained his certification as a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer in 2000.  Since that time, he has gained years of experience in a wide array of technical areas.  Gardi has worked with the US Army both CONUS and Overseas, ran his own Internet Cafe, worked as Network Admin for the Office of the State Attorney and as a Senior Systems Analyst for the Office of the Public Defender in Monroe County, Florida, and handled the IT needs of MWR at Naval Air Station Key West.   Through this array of experience Gardi has developed the tools and knowledge base to design cost-effective technical solutions for almost any enterprise.

Gardi's experience ranges from software implementation and training, to large scale equipment procurement and hardware and network deployment for MWR facilities throughout USAREUR, as well as life cycle maintenance projections and budgeting.  In addition, Gardi has run successful small businesses, and understands intimately the challenges and concerns of small business, and the need for reliable and cost-effective technical solutions.

As an employee of the Army, Gardi oversaw the deployment of a new system for all CYS facilities throughout Europe, involving every Area Support Group and Base Support Battalion.  While at Vermont Systems, Gardi implemented Point of Sales Systems and Recreation Software packages for the US Army, Municipalities, and private clients.  At both the Office of the Public Defender and the Office of the State Attorney, Gardi was solely responsible for all technical issues of multiple remote offices and close to fifty users throughout the Florida Keys.  With no one else to rely on, Gardi handled all aspects of email, security, backups, database management, reporting, and hardware and network configuration, deployment and maintenance.  At Naval Air Station Key West, Gardi supported all aspects of numerous MWR businesses, from network support to Micros point of sale systems.  Gardi has the tools to provide the same level of service to your small business, while resolving your technical needs and business objectives in a simple and cost-effective manner.
